On Sunday May 13th (one day after my graduation ceremony)... After one hour late-starting from our pre-scheduled plan due to some problem from finding the third punts, we started punting along river Cam from the centre of our town (King's College) towards our south destination... Granschester! Only 2 punts went there with lots of CUTS members, guests and yummy snacks along the way (hihihi)... |
Yippee we've made it! Yes, the punts were ready heading towards Grachester with the professional punter (N. Krit) steering on the back... |
But, unlucky... You've got an unprofessional one like me hold the paddle in the front (hahaha)... |
So... I've decided to sit still and enjoy environment instead (hihi... let's my friend spent their energy dee kwa') |
And then... Yes, I've found that P' Oy is a very great girl in punting!!! She can manage to get her punt that far behind catch my punt and then... we decided to go along with each other... |
Finally... ... here we were, at the Orchard our beatiful tea shop in Granchester. Wow! the apple trees around are so lovely :) :D |
| Let me try, let me try (it is easy because we going back with the help of the tide). |
But.... After enjoying the "Splash moutain", our punt full of WATER!!! So, we all have to get rid of them :'\ |
Anyway.... Finally we can bring our punt back to their place (one from Clare & another from St' John)... This pict is from Clare Bridge, a far-small punt is our punt heading to St' John (N. Mew, who is a little girl, was a punter and our president Mr. Leo was sitting _still_ enjoying the view???)... |
Sorry.... I don't know where to put this pict in (hahaha + too lazy to build another page). So, I decided to mix the 'getting on race' picts from our famous Cambridge's May Bump with CUTS activities... |
The reason.... that we walked far away from the city centre (around twice comparing to the walk to Granchester!!!) to there because our 'president' Leo joined this competition (King's Third Boat)... Anyway, I haven't take any photos of King boat (hihi)... so please enjoy the nicer view of girl's boat instead ..^^.. |
Here is.... the finish line. It is simply a rail bridge across the river Cam. The river in the north here is a bit wider and deeper than in the city centre... yes, more suitable to rowing... |

On the 13 (again?) of June Sab kindly opened his house for CUTS' annual BBQ party... Yes this is a yummy event (especially if you worked in the kitchen)!!! |
In the garden Yes, this house is so special -- big kitchen, big garden, big common room and a corridor from house to the garden. So, we all enjoy our BBQ party a lot... anyway, so sad that I havn't taken much photos as my camera run out of film :'| |
