"I would like to record my memory from Warsaw as a little journey book, which contains all photos that I'd taken while I were there (as a back ground on the left hand side) and the context of those wonderful time (on the right hand side)..."

  • Ok, this first picture on the right is me... standing in front of the main gate of the University of Warsaw, where we have the "Euroweek 2001".
  • And here is my helper in the first day, Krzysztof, who is Polish. Tough he is not a local Warsaw people, he kindly helped me take a number of photos, buy a phone card and shows me how things are in Poland.
  • In the evening of the first day, we had a sausage, pizza & beer party in the open-air place which located just in front of the university. Here is my photo taken while seating with a group of nice Russians and a group of joyful Italians who sang lots of songs...
  • Then, in the evening, I've met my nice roomate in the university dorm (no. 312a). Her name is Claudia, a lovely Romanian as you may see in the picture on your right.
  • And two more nice Russians block-mates (no. 312) who lived nearby. The picture on your right was taken in their room (no. 312b).
  • A group picture! including me, Claudia, a guy from Maxico and a group of Croatians. Oh... and an Italian lady who is best in cooking Spaghetti behind ..^^..
  • A group picture again... infront of the university dorm at Radomska place (dorm no.6). Lots of people in this picture... oh... cannot write all of there background to you but can guarantee that they are all nice friends :)
  • The fisrt time that I visited the city center... located just in front of the Royal Palace. David from Georgia kindly volunteered to be a guide as he had visited Warsaw before and it is also the first time that I've met a nice couple Karel and Lies from Belgium as well.
  • In front of the palace of culture and science. Oh! I almost forgot to introduce two lovely girls who I liked from this event. One is Csilla a Hungarian who stood on my left hand side. And, another one is Luiza a Polish who comes from Krakow (the old capital city of Poland)
  • Inside the palace of culture & in front of a funny tent. This pict, I took with a good country-representator Petar (Croatian) and a lovely future doctor Oana (Romanian).
  • (Let me solo... ) This is myself with the presence of old war-custume in one exhibition inside the palace of culture and science. It is so strange that this suit has a wing for fly!!!
  • This is a photo in the city center with a group of Hungarians, Alexei (Russian) and Konrad (Poland -- one of Euroweek's oganiser).
  • A group picture in front of Chopin momument. Anyway, we all accidently hid our lovely Chopin behind. So, you can't see him in this pict at all ;p
  • In the weekend, we have got a chance to visit the Chopin's home. It is a bit far from Warsaw city center (a couple of hours). We took a bus to there listening several Chopin's music & sleeping along the way... This picture is me with Oana, Monica and Karel.
  • Here is a photo of me and Konrad, who is an oganiser who contacted me before I went there, in front of Chopin's home (taken while we were waiting for a chance to go inside).
  • A group photo of (almost) everybody in front of Chopin's home (taken by our kindly guide who were burdened with load of cameras on her arms).
  • Let me solo (again) -- in Chopin's house (left: listening to the concert, right: with Chopin monument in a garden).
  • With Claudia in front of the Nirodow Palace (taken when we just arrived and, as usual, had to wait for a ticket in front)... Anyhow, the decoration inside of this palace is so much beautiful and worth to see.
  • Solo again and again... I remembered that I and Oana were looking for the ancient bridge that she would like to see... but we ended up with the misterious tree maze in the garden of Nirodow palace...
  • We (Monica,Oana and me) took walked in the city center (with David as a photographer of this pict) and Monica's friend who is a local Warsaw people (also in this pict) as our guide.
  • First of all: thanks David for helping me take this photo. This is a pict of me in the Barbican listening to a music from an instrument that I've never seen before in my life!
  • This photo was taken on a final workshop in a senate conference room. It is a presentation of each country! I was so excited sitting there but everything seemed to be Ok...
  • A final group photo in front of our conference room (in a beautiful hall): However, it was so unlucky that this picture is a bit quite blur... (I suspected that the camara was not stable while took a shot, but our organisers done it his best because I remembered a ton of cameras waiting for this picts on a piano overthere).
  • Finally, let me solo (again and again) in the garden of beautiful Willonow palace...
... The End of this Journey
